Madgicx alternatives

Written by Cesara, who is one of the alternatives. We’ll tell you plainly when to stay with Madgicx.

What is the best Madgicx alternative?

It depends on why you’re leaving. If your spend has outgrown Meta and you want Google and TikTok treated as first-class, the answer is Cesara. If you want to write your own automation rules cheaply, Bïrch (formerly Revealbot), from $49/mo. If your spend has moved to Google Ads, Opteo, $129–$499/mo. If you only ever wanted creative generated, AdCreative.ai — but that’s a different category of tool, not an optimizer.

If you’re a Shopify brand spending almost entirely on Meta: stay with Madgicx. That’s what it’s built for and it’s good at it.

The four real options

If your spend has outgrown Meta

Cesara(that’s us)

Optimizes Google, Meta, and TikTok as one system rather than one platform plus reporting on the rest. Flat published pricing ($199/$499/$999 by ad spend), and it cannot raise your total budget without your one-click approval. Built to work for service and lead-gen businesses, not just online stores.

The catch: If you're a Shopify brand spending almost entirely on Meta and what you want is the deepest possible Facebook creative analysis, Madgicx is still the better tool. Genuinely.

If you want to write your own rules

Bïrch (formerly Revealbot)

A mature rule engine across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat, from $49/mo on annual billing. You define the automation — 'pause anything over $40 CPA after 3 days' — and it enforces it precisely and cheaply.

The catch: You own every rule and its maintenance, and overage fees apply if you exceed your tier's spend limit.

If your spend has moved to Google Ads

Opteo

Prioritized Google Ads improvements you review and click to apply. $129–$499/mo priced by number of accounts and spend, which makes it strong for agencies running many accounts.

The catch: Google Ads only. If you still have real Meta spend, you'd need a second tool.

Cesara vs Opteo

If creative was the only reason you used Madgicx

AdCreative.ai

Generates ad images and copy from your brand assets on a credit-based plan.

The catch: It's a different category — it makes creative, it doesn't optimize bids or budgets. It's a companion to an optimizer, not a replacement for one.

The three reasons people actually leave

1. Their spend outgrew Meta

Madgicx describes itself as an “Ecom Ad Cloud” and an agentic Meta ads platform. Its reporting reaches Google, TikTok, GA4, Shopify, and Klaviyo — but Meta is the centre of gravity. That’s a strength right up until half your budget is in Google Search and a third is in TikTok, at which point a Meta-first optimizer with reporting bolted on is not the same thing as a system that optimizes all three. Budget doesn’t leak evenly. It leaks in the platform nobody is watching.

2. They’re not an ecommerce brand

The Shopify and Klaviyo integrations are the tell. Madgicx optimizes toward purchases, which is the correct design for a DTC brand and the wrong one for a roofer, a med spa, or a law firm — where the conversion is a phone call and what matters is whether it became a job three weeks later.

3. They want to know the price

Madgicx’s pricing page asks for your monthly ad spend and then says “See price inside the app.” You create an account to find out what you’d pay. Some people find that fine. Others read it as a signal about the rest of the relationship. Our prices are on our pricing page, and you can see them without giving us anything.

Before you switch, ask this

Whatever you move to, get a straight answer to one question: can it increase my total ad spend without asking me?

“Agentic” means the software acts on its own — wonderful when it’s pausing a losing ad at 2 a.m., considerably less so when you learn on the 30th that it decided your budget should have been higher. Cesara is built so that it can do anything reversible on its own, and nothing expensive without you.
