COMPARISON

Cesara vs Opteo

Short answer

Opteo is a Google Ads tool that recommends improvements for you to approve. Cesara acts on its own, across Google, Meta, and TikTok. Opteo costs $129–$499/mo and is priced by number of accounts, which makes it strong for agencies. Cesara costs $199–$999/mo, priced by your ad spend, and does the routine work without you — while still requiring your approval to raise your budget.

If all your spend is in Google Ads and you enjoy reviewing suggestions, Opteo is a fine choice. If your spend crosses platforms, or nobody on your team reliably logs in, Cesara does the work whether or not you show up.

The suggestion-queue problem

Opteo’s model is sound and honest: it looks at your Google Ads account, finds things worth changing, ranks them, and hands them to you. Nothing happens without your click. That is genuinely safe, and for a hands-on PPC manager it’s a good way to work.

But a suggestion queue has a failure mode, and it isn’t a software bug. It’s the weeks you don’t open it. The entire reason ad budgets leak is that the people responsible are busy doing the job that actually pays them. A tool that requires your attention to produce value produces nothing in exactly the weeks you needed it most.

The two-platform problem

Opteo is Google-only by design, and that focus buys real depth. The catch shows up the moment your budget spreads. Money doesn’t leak evenly — it leaks in the platform nobody is watching, and if your tool only watches Google, you have architecturally guaranteed that Meta and TikTok are the ones nobody is watching.

What Cesara does differently

  • The routine work happens without you. Bids adjusted, losers paused, budget reallocated — daily, across all three platforms, whether or not anyone logs in.
  • The expensive decisions still come to you. Raising total budget, launching a campaign, changing creative: one-click approval, every time.
  • Every action is logged with its reason. You can read a week’s worth in under a minute — which is a very different thing from being asked to make forty decisions.

The design goal isn’t “fewer clicks.” It’s that the work gets done on the weeks you’re too busy to do it, without ever spending money you didn’t agree to. More on the reasoning in what AI ad management actually is.

Where Opteo is the better buy

  • All — or nearly all — of your spend is in Google Ads.
  • You’re an agency running many accounts; Opteo’s per-account pricing beats per-spend pricing at that shape.
  • You want to review and approve every single change, and you will actually do it.

Where Cesara is the better buy

  • Your spend crosses Google, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Nobody on your team reliably logs in to work a suggestion queue.
  • You want automation that acts — but can’t raise your budget without you.
